Mr. Krueger is as European manager responsible for „International Relations“ for rail forwarding company VTG Rail Logistics GmbH. Previously, since 1992 he was responsible for the development of the rail freight division in the Kuehne + Nagel Group. Prior to Kuehne + Nagel, since 1990 he was responsible for the Cargo Division of Deutsche Reichsbahn (East German Railway).
Olaf Krüger is co-founder of the IBS, founded in 1996, since when he was kept reelected as its Chairman. Main objective of IBS, as european lobby organization, is to coordinate business environment and frame regulation in further development of Railfreight transport services.
